-- Fred Harvey, 76 retired school teacher, died Thursday morning (17th) in Wabash Valley Nursing Home, Montezuma.  He was born August 15, 1883 in Fountain County, a son of Abram and Delphania Jackson Harvey. He was married august 15, 1906 Cora Ringer.  Mr. Harvey taught school 37 years before retiring in 1947.  He sold insurance from 1945-55.  He was a 54-year-member of the Kingman IOOF  lodge 339; 47 year member of Cayuga Masonic Lodge and birthright member of the Friends Church.  Survivors are his wife; a son, Clovis of Indianapolis and a grandson.  He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. saturday at Woodrow Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Hartman in charge, assisted by the Rev. Hayes Hendrix and Rev. Eugene Rapson.  Burial in Kingman Fraternal cemetery.

Fred Harvey, 76, a retired school teacher, died at the Wabash Valley Nursing Horne in Montezuma Thursday morning.
Mr. Harvey had taught in Western Indiana schools for 37 years.
Born in Fountain County, on August 15, 1883, he was the son of Abram and Delphania Jackson Harvey.
For 54 years he was a member of Kingman IOOF Lodge, No. 339, and was a member of the Friends Church.
He married Cora Rringer on August 15, 1906, and she survives, along with a son, Clovys, of Indianapolis; and a grandson.
Services were held Saturday with burial in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.  - jz
