The people of the township were shocked last Thursday in the forenoon when it became known that Mrs. Chloe Harvey had died that morning. Mrs. Harvey was stricken with that dreaded disease consumption about two years ago and she met the results on Thursday morning. She was known and held in high esteem by a large number of Liberty township people. Her death deprives four orphan children of a guiding hand in an important period in their lives. They have the sympathy of a large circle of relatives and friends. The funeral services were held in the Friends church at Tangier at 10:30 o’clock Sunday and the church was much too small to even crowd the company into. Levi Woody preached an impressive discourse after which her body was placed beside that of her husband in the Rushcreek cemetery. -s
