ATTICA — Peter Henry Hartz, age 96, of Kramer, died at 8:07 p.m. Monday, May 27, at his home. He had been in failing health for seven years. Mr. Hartz was born July 10, 1871, near Judyville in Warren County, the son of Tobias Harding and Cleestia Gillette Hartz. He had resided in Warren County all of his life and had been a coal miner. He was married Aug. 13, 1910, in Williamsport, to Minnie Neal, who survives. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: one daughter, Miss Helen Hartz, at home; one brother, Harley of Kramer; one sister, Mrs. Margaret McMillan of Fort Wayne; two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the DeSutter Funeral Home here. The Rev. T. Edward Davis officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
