HARTLE, Roy E. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Roy E. Hartle, 67 Rt 4, Veedersburg, died at 6:50 a.m. Friday November 1, at Lakview Med Center, Danville.  He was born June 28, 1918 in Valparaiso the son of Orin & Lucy Hartle. He married Mary Anna Weaver Feb 11, 1938 in Rockville. SHe survives.  He was a retired farmer and also ret. in 1978 form Harrison Steel Castings Co., Attica. He was a member of Stone Bluff United Methodist Church. Surviving besides his wife are a son and daughter, Lloyd Hartle and Susie Lefton; two brothers, Carl and Floyd; a sister, Bernice MIchaels; 3 grandchildren and a  great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and his parents. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday November 4 at Stone Bluff United Methodist Church with Revs. Jerry McCune and John Hellman officiating.  Burial was in Wayentown Masonic Cemetery.  Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg was in charge.
