VEEDERSBURG — Lloyd L. Hartle, 63, Veedersburg, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2002 at his residence. He was born Sept. 16, 1938 in Crawfordsville, the son of Roy E. and Mary Weaver Hartle. He married Martha Weber July 4, 1960 in Stone Bluff. She survives. He served in the U. S. Army. He retired from TeePak in Danville, Ill. in 2001. He enjoyed woodworking and making furniture for his home. He was a graduate of Veedersburg High School. She was an active member of the Stone Bluff United Methodist Church. Survivors, besides the wife, include: his mother, Mary Hartle, Veedersburg; two daughters, Lori Hershberger, Wallace and Judy Morgan, Danville, Ill.; a sister, Susie (Charles) Lefton, Veedersburg; a special niece, Kim Lefton, Veedersburg; two granddaughters, Amanda Hershberger, Crawfordsville and Ashlynn Morgan, Danville, Ill.; several nieces and nephews; and two close friends, John Morgan and Joe Clark. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday in Stone Bluff United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stanley Hicks officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, was in charge of arrangements. Preferred memorials to the church. – jlr
