Danville, Ill Nov 2 – Joseph Miller, aged 23
years son of Stacy Miller, a saloon-keeper here was arrested yesterday by the
Sheriff of Fountain County, Indiana charged with murder in the first degree in
the shooting on Sept 21 last of Joseph Harter, aged 50 in a saloon row at
Covington the county seat of Fountain County. Testimony has just been produced
before the grand jury directly charging Miller with the murder. - kbz
