VEEDERSBURG — Mrs. Edna L. Harrold, 71, a resident of Veedersburg, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Rozella Collings in Danville, Ill. She had made her home with the daughter the past six months. Born Aug. 1, 1883, Mrs. Harrold was the daughter of Ferdinand and Rozella Halsey Sunderland. She married Lorenzo Harrold of Veedersburg April 26, 1900. For several years following their marriage the couple operated a greenhouse in Veedersburg. Surviving, besides the daughter at whose home she died, are two other daughters, Mrs. Rovena Lang, Waynetown, and Mrs. Naomi Reigel, Tilton, Ill.; a son, John Harrold, Veedersburg; a sister, Mrs. Rowena Marshall, Detroit, Mich., nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg, with burial at the Rockfield Cemetery. Rev. H. N. Williams of Logansport will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Veedersburg – Mrs. Edna L. Harrold, 71, retired florist, died at 6:30 a.m Saturday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Rozella Collings of Danville Ill R 4.  Born at Thorntown, she moved to Veedersburg as a child.  In 1900 she married Lorenzo D. Harrold. They operated the Veedersburg Greenhouse here for many years. Mr. Harrold is dead. She belonged to the 7th Day Adventist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Collings, Mrs. Rovena Lang of Waynetown, and Mrs. Naomi Reigle of Danville, Ill; a son John Harrold, Veedersburg and a sister, Rowena Marshall, Detroit. The body has been returned to Veedersburg for services and burial.
