VEEDERSBURG – Mrs. Susan Towell Harris, 29, Veedersburg, died Sunday morning in the National Cancer Research Hospital at Baltimore, Md., where she had been a patient for eight weeks. She was born Aug. 2, 1941, at Terre Haute, to James E. and Lucille G. Towell. Mrs. Harris was a member of the United Methodist Church of Veedersburg. She is survived by her parents; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann, at home; a sister. Mrs. Ann Tyler of Danville, Ill.; a nephew, J. J. Watson of Danville, Ill., and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Harry E. Towell of Kingman. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by Rev. Vernon Souder in Parham Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call between 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. – jlr
