Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Paul Jasper Harris, 500 North Fifth Street, Attica, died Wednesday, May 4, 1969, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette where he had been a patient four days. He had been in ill health the past year. Born Jan. 4, 1912, Mr. Harris was the son of Arthur and Nannie Butler Harris. He was married in 1934 to Evelyn Myers, who survives. They formerly resided at Kokomo and Detroit and he had been a line serviceman with Public Service Indiana for over 24 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and had served as president of the Early Bird Bowling League. Surviving with the widow are two sons, Paul Harris, Jr., of Attica; William Arthur Harris of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Dennis Sprouls, Attica; a brother, Monroe Harris, Converse, Ind; a half-sister, Mrs. John Reichel of Riverhead, N. Y.; and his step-mother, Mrs. William Shepherd, Queens Village, Long Island, N. Y. Four grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death Friends may call at the Roemer by his parents and a daughter. Funeral Chapel after 3 p. m. on Friday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p m. Saturday from the Chapel with Rev. Vernon Staton officiating. Burial in Riverside cemetery. – jlr
