HARRIS, Elsie - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Rainsville—Mrs. Elsie T. Harris, 88, Route 4, Attica, died unexpectedly at 6 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 1989 in her home.

  She was born Oct. 15, 1900 in East Chicago, Ind. She had lived in the Warren County area for 50 years. She was married in 1924 to Lee Harris, who preceded her in death July 19, 1965.

  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Alice) Stingle, Route 4, Attica; a brother, Gilbert Daske, Valparaiso; four granddaughters, Mrs. Lee Ann Pittman, Marietta, Ga.; Mrs. Linda Eacret, Apple Valley, Calif.; Theresa “Storme” Stingle, Fords, N. J., and Mrs. Dawn Norkus, Bellbrook, Ohio, and six great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Yuill-Shoemaker Funeral Home, Boswell, with Donald Glover officiating. Burial was in Boswell Cemetery. – thanks to S
