HARRIS, Edna Smith

Hillsboro, Ind.—Mrs. Edna Smith Harris, 86, of Hillsboro, died Monday morning April 16, 1973 at home.

She was born June 27, 1886 in Covington, a daughter of Thomas R. and Mary R. Piper Smith. On Nov. 6, 1911, she was married to William A. Price, who died Feb. 4, 1952.

On June 19, 1954, she was married to Lloyd Harris, who died Dec. 12, 1956.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Homer W. (Ruth) Coats of Waynetown Route 1, and Mrs. James R. (Winifred) Stockdale of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Harris attended Covington schools and was a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Church Women.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. EST Thursday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, with the Rev. Walter C. Williams officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington.
