Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Friday, Feb. 23, at the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home for Mrs. Amanda Harris, age 85, who died Feb. 21 at the Indiana Central Hospital in Indianapolis where she had been a patient for the past 45 years. The Rev. Conley Rowland officiated. Burial was in the Osborne Prairie Cemetery. Mrs. Harris and her husband, the late Walter Harris, formerly operated a restaurant in Stone Bluff. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Dice. Mrs. Harris was a member of the Stone Bluff EUB Church. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Carrie Sailor of West Lafayette; and a brother Clifford Dice of Royal Center. She also was preceded in death by a son, three sisters and a brother. --typed by Walt W
