HARRINGTON, James A. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

James A. Harrington, 80, lifelong resident of Crawfordsville died Wed. night at 10 o'clock at the soldier's home at Danville, Ill.

He had been in poor health for several years and his death was due to a complication of disease.

Mr. H. was b. in Fountain Co. and was a member of the Baptist Church.

He was a veteran of the Civil War in which he served with Co. K 86th Ind Inf.

Besides the widow he is survived by the following children: James & George Harrington and Catherine Harrington of Crawfordsville, Fred Harrington of Frankfort; Harry Harrington of Miami, Fla; Mrs. Sam Cash of Urbana, Il; Mrs. Ethel Shirley, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla; and 3 step children Harold, Lucile and Marlin Zellars.

The remains were brought from Danville and taken to the Proffitt & Son cahpel where funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock.

Rev. Odell of the Baptist Church will officiate. Bur. in Oak Hill.
