Leslie Harriman of Wallace, age 62, died Wednesday morning, June 3, in the Veterans Hospital at Indianapolis. He was born near Richmond, December 28, 1918, the son of Samuel and Lizzie Greenley Harriman. June 8, 1940, he married Mary Bayless, who survives. He was a member of Prairie Creek Baptist Church and Wallace Masonic Lodge. A graduate of Kingman High School, he was a veteran of World War II and had worked as a custodian for Wabash College and for Harrison Steel in Attica and Pittman Auto Company in Hillsboro.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Brook of Kingman; and six nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Jeff Busby officiating. Burial was in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. – thanks to S
