Charles Adren Harper, 56, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at his home at Portland Arch on Attica Rural Route 4, following an illness of two weeks. Mr. Harper was born March 16, 1898 at Stone Bluff, Ind, son of John William and Stella Luman Harper. He married Mary Ellen Lamb at Covington July 18, 1925 and she survives. He was a member of the Attica Nazarene Church. Also surviving are two brothers, William of Attica and Harry of Portland Arch. Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at the Portland Arch Church with burial in Rockfield Cemetery. – kbz
