HILLSBORO -- Mrs. Jessie Harlan, 92, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday evening at the Americana Nursing Home at Lafayette. She was a member of Hillsboro Nazarene Church. She was born Aug. 11, 1880, near Mellott, a daughter of George and Charlotte Whitesell Foxworthy. Mrs. Harlan was married Dec. 18, 1905, to George Harlan, who died Sept. 27, 1946. Survivors include four sons, Frank of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville, Walter of Crawfordsville, Marion of Tulsa, Okla., and Robert of Lafayette; three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Saferight of Indianapolis, Mrs. Charlotte Davis of Gardenia, Calif., and Mrs. Lucreta Christoff of Duniden, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Smith of Ladoga; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers and four sisters. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, with Pastor Paul Hubble officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. --typed by Walt W
