Mr. Berry M. Harding, a well known farmer of the New Liberty neighborhood, died Saturday evening at his farm home about 6:45.  Mr. Harding had been in failing health for the past five years.  He was active in the New Liberty Church for many years and had resided in Fountain County for 70 years.  He was born in Kentucky on July 4, 1863, the son of Henry and Elizabeth Florence Harding.  He was married to Ollie Hesler who preceded him in death in 1904.  He was married to Martha Ellen Chatt, who survives. Besides the wife, he is survived by two sons, Russell and James both of Danville, Ill; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Edwards, also of Danville; two sisters, Mrs. Namie Florence of Bartensville, Ky and Mrs. Amy Herbert of Sharpsville, Ind and two brothers, Newtown of Cynthiana, Ky and the Rev.  Ira Harding of Lexington, KY. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jimmy Harding of New Orleans, LA; Mrs. Norma Jean Gilason of Kansas City, Kan and George Edward Jr. of Danville, Ill. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at the New Liberty Christian Church with Rev. CE Smith officiating at the services. Burial was in the Rockfield Cemetery with Fishero Funeral Home in charge. – kbz
