Hanover Park, Ill.—Charlotte Mae Babb, 54, Hanover Park and formerly of Danville, Ill., died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 1989. She had been in failing health the past year.

She was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Danville, the daughter of Oscar Orr and Lora Ellen Lewis Babb. She was married May 11, 1948, to Paul Russell Hardesty Sr.

She enjoyed visiting historic sites and activities with her family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.

Surviving are a son, Paul Russell Jr., Hanover Park; a daughter, Laura Dietz, Norridge, Ill.; six grandchildren; a brother, Charles Robert Babb, Danville, and two stepsisters, Ellen Turpin, Veedersburg, and Helen Carr, Scottsdale, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepbrother.
