COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) - Ralph Wayne Harden, 73, a life resident of Covington, died at 3:28 a.m. Friday (Nov. 27 1970 ) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill., where he had been a patient three hours. He had been in failing health for six months and seriously ill the past month. Mr. Harden was born Dec. 24, 1896, in Covington, son of Elmer and Ota Redden Harden. He married Olive Fritch on April 29, 1917, and she survives. He had owned a grocery store, was employed as a car salesman and had last worked with the state highway department, retiring in 1967. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Covington. Also surviving are a son, Effrey of Covington; a brother, Alfred of Danville; a grandson, Alan W. of Denver, Colo.; and three great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. EST Sunday at the Hegg Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Saturday at the funeral home. - jlr
