WEST LEBANON — Carmon Walker (Coxey) Hanson, 63, of West Lebanon, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill. He had been in failing health the past year and a half. He was born July 25, 1906, in Hedrick, the son of Bert and Maude Walker Hanson. He married Mildred Haptonstall April 8, 1936, at Covington and she survives. He was retired, operated a billiards room in West Lebanon for many years. He was a member of the Warren County community all of his life and he served in the Armed Forces during World War II. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: two sons, Dennis of Danville and Douglas of Indianapolis; two brothers, Lawrence Hanson of West Lebanon and Bert Hanson Jr. of White Pigeon, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Mitchell Santoreneos of Joliet, Ill., and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Crowmer-Siddens Funeral chapel in West Lebanon. The Rev. William Thompson officiated and burial was in the West Lebanon Cemetery. The VFW Post 278 of Danville, Ill., presented full honors at the graveside. --typed by Walt W

He was born at Hedrick on July 25, 1906, the son of Bert and Maude Walker Hanson. He was retired, and had been a pool room operator in West Lebanon for many years. He had been a member of the Warren County Community all his life. He was married April 8, 1936, at Covington to Mildred Haptonstall, who survives. He was a veteren of World War II and a member of VFW Post ne. 724 at Danvillem Ill.
Surviving with the wife are two sons, Dennis of Danville, Ill., Douglas , Indianapolis; five grandchildren; two brothers, Lawrence Hanson, West Lebanon; Bert Hanson, Jr., White Pigeon, Mich., one sister, Mrs. Mitchell Sontoreneos, Joliet, Ill.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Crowmer-Siddens Chapel in West Lebaanon, with Rev. William Thompson, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in West Lebanon Cemetery, with military Rites observed. Friends may call at the Mortuary from ............

Funeral services for Carmon W. Hanson were conducted from the Crowmer-Siddens Chapel in West Lebanon, Tuesday, March 17, at 2 p.m. with Rev. William Thompson officiating.
Pallbearers were Jack Jackson, Joe Johnson, Max Groff, Bob Sargent, Jim Price, and Billy Cox. Interment was held in West Lebanon Cemetery with American Legion Post 259 performing military services, Crowmer-Siddens Mortuary was in charge.
