HANNAH, Lena Leota Gouty - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg—Mrs. Lena Leota Hannah passed away Wednesday night, February 18 at 11:45 at her home near Stone Bluff. She had been ill the past three days. She was born April 18, 1888 in Vermillion County, Indiana, the daughter of Thomas Gouty and Christina Stuttler Gouty. She married Cleve Hannah August 19, 1909. Mrs. Hannah was a member of the Howard Chapel and of the Royal Neighbors Lodge.  Survivors are the husband; six children, Mrs. Mildred Dare, R. R. 2, Covington, Mrs. Marie Snoddy of Covington, R. R. 1, Delbert Hannah of Sidell, Illinois, Bernice Vaughn of Cates, Harold Hannah of Covington, Harland at home; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Harley Gouty of Covington Marion Gouty of near Gessie, Indiana; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Moudy, Foster, Indiana and Mrs. Bertha Moudy of R. R. 2, Covington.    Funeral services at 2:00 Sunday at the Covington Methodist Church with Rev. J. T. Myers of Danville officiating. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. - thanks to S&E
