HANNA, Cleve - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Cleve Hanna of Covington, age 97, died Friday evening, November 6, in Covington Manor Nursing Home. He was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky, July 23, 1884, the son of David and Elizabeth Doyle Hanna. August 18, 1909, he married Leota Gouty, who died February 18, 1948. A retired farmer, he was a member of Stone Bluff United Methodist Church and Farm Bureau Co-op.

  Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Dare of Covington, Mrs. Marie Snoddy and Mrs. Bernice Vaughan, both of RR 1, Covington, a son, Harold of Perrysville; 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, a step granddaughter and three step great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. Edgar F. Allen and Rev. Dennis Keefer officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. -s
