HANKINS, Goldie Belle Shell - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Yeddo -- Mrs. Goldie Bell Hankins, 75, died at her home in Yeddo Sunday afternoon, March 12 1961. She was born in Yeddo on March 1 1886, the daughter of Oliver and Mary Ellen Sample Shell. She was married to George Hankins, who died on July 1 1954. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Cuba Dixon of Cayuga; three sons, George of Yeddo, Horance and Wayne, both of Kingman Rural route; a brother, Newt Shell of Newport; two sisters, Mrs. Madge Swisher and Mrs. Telsie Osborn, both of Danville, Ill; seven grandchildren' eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper's Chapel Church with the Rev. Robert Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the church. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman.
