Raymond HAND, 54, resident of the Wallace community died at 7 a.m. Tuesday at Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis following an operation on his leg Monday. Mr. Hand was severely burned Feb 24 when his clothing caught fire as he sat in his auto. He had apparently fallen asleep and his light cigarette fell into his lap. He suffered third degree burns on both legs. He was treated at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville until Monday when he was removed to the Indianapolis hospital for surgery. The only survivor is an aunt, Mrs. Belle Parr of Mansfield, Ill. – kbz
