HAMM, Minnie Ellen Stonebreaker

Mrs. Minnie Ellen Hamm, 83, of Waynetown, and a former resident of Hillsboro for several years, died at 10:40 a.m. Monday in the Rudisill Nursing Home in Crawfordsville.  She had been in ill health for the past two years and death was attributed to a heart ailment.
She was born March 10, 1876 at Alamo, daughter of William and Sarah Stonebraker.  She was married to William Hamm in 1894 and he died in May 1940.  Mrs. Hamm was a member of the Wallace Christian Church, Ladies Aid Society and of Daughters of Union Veterans.  The first years of her married life were spent in Wallace, then moved to Hillsboro and a resident of Waynetown for the past 12 years.
Survivors are two sons, Roy and Herman; and a daughter Mrs. Dorothy Clark, all of Hammond; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ford, of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Ida Work, of Waynetown.
Funeral service was held at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown at 4 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. John R. Servies officiating.  Interment was in the Alamo Cemetery.  - jz
