HAMILTON, Louis E. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Louis E. Hamilton of rural Pine Village, age 56, died Saturday night, April 10, in Home Hospital at Lafayette. He was born in Ohio County, Kentucky, July 27, 1925, the son of Lorence and Sadie Wedding Hamilton. March 31, 1951, he married Virginia L.

Donathan, who survives. A resident of Gary for 26 years before moving in 1979 to Pine Village, he had been a gate watchman for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad for 26 years. He was a member of the Izaac Walton League and National Bass Club.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Alice Ann Hamilton, at home; two sons, Ronald N. and Lorin Dean, both of Gary; and two brothers, Norman L. Hamilton of Covington and Edward Hamilton of Hammond.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport with Rev. Charles Anderson officiating. Burial was in Rainsville Cemetery. – thanks to S
