Funeral services for John C. Hamilton were held at the home of his brother, Isaac Hamilton here (Hillsboro) Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. AC Tharpe of Veedersburg in charge. A quartet, composed of Charles Livengood, JP Cooper, Mrs. Elzada Claman and Mrs. Mary Starnes, sang, accompanied by Mrs. Charles Livengood. The pallbearers were William Brant, Hyson J. Myer, William Lyon, Evan Tinsley, Frank Thomas and Sam Largent. Interment was made in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. --- transcribed by kbz
