VEEDERSBURG -- Adrian R. Hamick, a farmer of the Veedersburg community, died Wednesday night at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville where he had been a patient for two days. Prior to being admitted to the hospital, Mr. Hamick had been at the Small Nursing home in Waynetown for several months. His farm was located four miles northeast of Veedersburg. Mr. Hamick was born in Virginia Feb. 13, 1871, the son of Andrew and Ann Covault Hamick. He was preceded in death by his wife. She died 10 years ago. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the J. Fred Parham Mortuary in Veedersburg. Burial in Union Cemetery, seven miles north of here. typed by Walt W.

Adrian Roscoe Hamick, 86, died at Culver Hospital Wednesday night after a short illness. He had spent the winter months at the Small Nursing Home in Waynetown but had been removed to Culver Hospital for medical care. He was the son of Ann Covault and Andy Hamick, was a farmer and had lived most of his life in Fountain County in the Stone Bluff community. The body was removed to the home of Mrs. Gilley Hancock at Stone Bluff Thursday evening. Funeral services will be held at Stone Bluff Church of the Nazarene, Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Union Cemetery with Parham Funeral Home in charge. – kbz
