Kenneth R. Hall, 72, of Kingman, died at 12:38 p.m. EDT Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis. Mr. Hall was born Sept. 13, 1935, in Casper, Wyo., the son of Marlin and Catherine (Hutts) Hall. He married Joan Davies, his wife of nearly 52 years, on Aug. 4, 1956, in Liverpool, England. Survivors include his wife, Joan Hall of Kingman; three daughters, Cathy (John) Ratcliff of Jacksonville, Fla., Susie (Tom) Bodine of Kingman; Janet (Jack) Parchman of White House, Tenn.; one son, Kenny W. Hall (fiancé, Tami Everson) of Kingman; three brothers, Robert (Betty) Hall of Illinois, Keith (Ann) Hall of Hillsboro and Larry (Bonnie) Hall of Veedersburg; six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth, in England. Kenneth served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by General Motors in Tilton, Ill., until retirement in 1989. When Kenneth was in good health, he enjoyed boating and waterskiing. Recently he still enjoyed the outdoors and the trips with his wife to Turkey Run State Park. He was a passionate fan of NASCAR racing and especially No. 24, Jeff Gordon, literally tuning in for every minute of every race. Most of all, he was a loving husband and father to his family. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. EDT Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at Dickerson Funeral Home with Coy Overpeck officiating. Visitation will be 5–8 p.m. EDT Tuesday Aug. 5, 2008, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Bonebrake Cemetery. – jlr
