Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the State Line Nazarene Church for Nellie May Hall, 72, of Route 2, Covington. She died at 1:23 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. She had been ill three weeks. James Phillips and the Rev. James Kesler officiated. Burial was in Georgetown Cemetery at Georgetown, Ill. Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington were in charge of arrangements. A resident of the Foster area since 1939, she was a member of the State Line Nazarene Church. She was born Jan. 14, 1912, in Tolono, Ill., the daughter of John and Mary Frances Wolf Alcorn. She married Howard C. Hall Nov. 26, 1930. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Harold E., Route 2, Williamsport; a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Irene) Cope, Route 2, Covington; a sister, Rosabelle Hillyer, Danville; her stepmother, Lillie Alcorn, Route 2, Covington; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
