HAINES, Nellie Fouts - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Nellie Haines of Veedersburg, age 73, died Monday evening, December 7, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born at Waynetown, December 5, 1908, the daughter of Everett and Flossie Foster Fouts. April 14, 1926, she married Carl Haines, who died August 21, 1975. Mrs. Haines was a member of Prairie creek Baptist Church and Stone Bluff Ladies Aid.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Earl Potter of RR 4, Veedersburg, and Mrs. Sam Swingle of Willard, Ohio; a stepbrother, Harold Bratton of Waynetown; and three grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. Harry Hybarger officiating, Burial was in Waynetown Cemetery. -s
