Mrs. Myrtle May Hagerman, 73, of 1010 E. Fairchild St., Danville, Ill., died in Lake View Hospital at 8:30 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 21, 1957). She had been a patient in the hospital since Jan. 30 when she fractured a hip in a fall down basement steps at her home.
Mrs. Hagerman was born in Lafayette April 13, 1885, a daughter of Thomas V. and Helen McLain Crockett. She was married to Carl F. Hagerman in 1905.. He preceded her in death Oct. 6, 1949.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas F. of Newport, R. I., and Robert L. in the U. S. Air Force; two daughters, Miss Ruth Hagerman of Danville and Mrs. Russell (Helen) Burgner of Veedersburg; four brothers, Richard of Los Angeles, Robert of Wheaton, Ill., and Charles and Frank Crockett of Bellwood, Ill., and three grandchildren.
She was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church.
Services were held at the Pape Memorial Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. A. F. DeGafferelly officiating. Burial was in Springhill Cemetery. -jz
