Funeral services for Lindus Hadley were held at the Rush Creek Church Friday afternoon with the Rev. Alta Reese officiating. The Rev. Winfield Sherrill offered prayer and read the obituary. Music was furnished by Carmen Heath, Charlotte Pugh and Mic Farley with Mrs. Thurman Colson, pianist. Pall bearers were Gordon Marks, Ottie Mendenhall, George Culter, James Rae, William Hoyt and Martin Mershon. Interment was in Rush Creek Cemetery. Mr. Hadley died at the Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville where he and Mrs. Hadley have been patients for several weeks. He was born in May 1862 the son of Elwood and Ruth Hadley and was married to Mary Goff who died in 1935. He later married Martha Emma Atchinson who survives with two sons, Joel of LaGrange, Ill and Clifford of Sylvania and six grandchildren. – kbz
