Mrs. Will Anna Gardner Haas died early Saturday morning at her home in Mellott, following a paralytic stroke. Mrs. Haas had been in failing health for the past year. Mrs. Haas was born March 7, 1878 the daughter of William and Mary E. Short Gardner. She was married to Clarence Haas April 9, 1899 who survives. Also surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Sherrill Melton of Palmyra, Ind; Mrs. Lotus Allen of Lafayette; Mrs. Samuel Davidson of Zionsville and four grandchildren. She was a member of New Antioch Christian Church at Mellott. Funeral services were Sunday afternoon at the New Antioch Christian Church with Rev. Guy Walters officiating. Burial was in the Rosehill Cemetery with Crumley Funeral Home in charge. – kbz
