MELLOTT, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Florence Gwaltney, 57, of Zionsville, died at 7 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 2, 1972) at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She had been a patient the past four weeks. She was the wife of the Rev. Ivan Gwaltney, a former Mellott minister. The Rev. Mr. Gwaltney served as pastor of the Mellott United Church of Christ from 1944 to 1948. He also served as pastor of the Sterling Christian Church and is presently pastor of the Browns Wonder and Old Union churches near Lebanon. Mrs. Gwaltney was previously employed at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Ivanna) Conrad of Corydon and Mrs. Don (Phyllis) Walter of Zionsville; and a son, Kenneth of Zionsville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Myers Mortuary in Lebanon. Visitation will be there after 7 p.m. Thursday. --waw
