GUSTUS, Ralph - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Ralph “Rusty” Gustus of West Lafayette, age 68, died Thursday afternoon, February 3, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. He was born at Attica, April 18, 1914, the son of Floyd E. and Lena White Gustus. August 20, 1946, he married Virginia Christenberry, who survives. A member of the Attica First Lutheran Church, he had farmed in the Attica area before moving to Lafayette a year ago. He had also worked for the Fountain County Highway Department.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Susan Small of Attica; a sister, Mary Louise Miller of Tucson, Arizona; six brothers, Floyd Jr. of Danville, Illinois, Richard of Hillsboro, Tom, Howard and Jerry, all of RR 1, Attica, and William of Tucson; and two grandsons.

  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Maus Chapel in Attica with Rev. James Boudouris officiating. Burial was Riverside Cemetery. – thanks to S
