GUSTUS, Floyd Elmer - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Floyd Elmer Gustus of RR 1, Attica, age 92, died Monday evening, September 12, at his home. He was born at Attica, October 9, 1890, the son of Frank and Sannah Johnson Gustus. In 1912, he married Lena white, who died February 20, 1960. He was a farmer in the Attica area for 47 years and had worked as an auto mechanic. He was a member of Attica Lutheran Church.

  Survivors include a daughter, Mary Louise Miller of Attica; six sons, Floyd E. Jr. of Danville, Illinois, Richard Frederick of RR 2, Veedersburg, Howard Paul and George Thomas of RR 1, Attica, William of Tucson, Arizona, and Jerry Dean of Attica; a sister, Ruby Wilson of Temple, Texas; 16 grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. James Boudouris officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. -s-
