GUINN, Robert "Gene" - WWII

Robert E. “Gene” Guinn of RR 2, Kingman, age 59, died Saturday, October 30, at his home. He was born at Kingman, February 13, 1923, the son of Charlie and Lula Mary Ransom Guinn. He was an Army paratrooper in World War II and was a disabled veteran. He had been a farmer and caretaker for three small cemeteries.

  Surviving are two sisters, Ruth Bowman of Wallace and Pauline Cook of RR 1, Covington; and two brothers, Vernon of Chandler and Charlie R. of RR 2, Kingman.

  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga with Rev. Dennis Keefer officiating. Burial was in Miller Cemetery south of Lodi with military graveside rites by Cayuga American Legion Post.
