Emile A. “Mondo”
Guiliani, 86, of Westville, Ill., passed away at 1:38 a.m. Saturday, October
28, 2000 at Provena USMC, Logan campus. He was born Nov. 20, 1913, in
Westville, Ill., the son of Angelo and Pauline Maskie Guiliani. He had married
Lillie Mullins on January 25, 1998, in Danville, Ill. She survives. Also
surviving are two sons, Emile (Charlene) Guiliani of Kingman and Michael
Guiliani of Georgetown, Ill.; one daughter, Pauline (Willie) Delp of Westville,
Ill.; one brother, George Guiliani of Westville, Ill.; one sister, Gloria
(Wendell) Hardesty of Midland, Texas; two stepsons, Charles (Carla) Roseman of
Westville, Ill., Michael (Carolyn) Mullins of Georgetown, Ill.; six
stepdaughters, Charlene Guiliani of Virginia Beach, Va., Nancy Roseman of
Danville, Ill., Edith (Wesley) English of Georgetown, Ill., Janice Harden of
Danville, Ill., Linda (Dennis) Davidson of Georgetown, Ill. and Julia (Mark)
Cramer of Georgetown; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several
stepgrandchildren and several step great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his
parents, one brother, one sister, one stepson, one step grandson, and a
daughter-in-law. Emile had worked at Ziegler Coal Mines and had owned and
operated the Happy Hour Tavern in Westville, Ill. He was a member of the United
Mine Workers of America. His hobbies include fishing, walking in the woods and
working in his yard. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 1,
2000 at Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ill. with Rev. John
Paninski officiating. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery in Georgetown, Ill.
