BLOOMINGDALE — Emanuel Gubser, 72, of Bloomingdale, died Thursday at 11:25 a.m. in Union Hospital at Terre Haute. He was born Feb. 13, 1897 in Parke County, the son of Arnold and Susana Kuhn Gubser. He was preceded in death in 1967 by his wife, Rosie. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Hammand of Georgetown, Ill., and Miss Mary Gubser of Bloomingdale; two sons, John of Bloomingdale and Thomas of Lodi, Calif.; a stepmother, Mrs. Helen Gubser of Hillsboro, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home in Rockville, with Rev. Wendell Adams officiating. Burial will be at Cashatt Cemetery in Parke County.
