Kingman, Ind., Mrs. Mildred Fauniel Grubbs, 62 died unexpectadely at 8:15 a.m. Friday December 12, 1969 at her residence in Kingman. Death was due to an apparent heart attack. Mrs. Grubbs was born Oct 3, 1907 at Yeddo, daughter of Cyrus & Emmaline Smith McMasters. She was married to Walter Grubbs February 8, 1928. He survives. Also surviving are a dughter, Mrs. Russell (Evelyn) Walker of Rockville; a granddaughter, Mrs. Rodney (Janice) Puth of Tangier Rt 1; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Steele of Danville Ill; Mrs. John (Valeria) Russell of Blooomingdale; a great grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and infant son. Mr. and Mrs. Grubbs had resided in Kingman since 1933 where they owned and operated the Kingman IGA. She was a member of the Fountain Chapter 204 OES; Chariot Rebekah Lodge, Kingman NGO Birthday Club and Kingman Chrisitan Church and its Laides Aid Society. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. EST Sunday at Kingman Christian Church with Rev. Larry McMIllian officiating. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday and until noon Sunday at Tudor Funeral Home in Rockville. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Sunday to lie in state. --kz
