Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington for Alexander Grubbs, 82, who died Saturday at his home after a short illness.
The Rev. William Rudd officiated with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
He was born April 27, 1876, son of Phillip and Nancy White. He was married to Minnie Faye McDonald in 1915.
Survivors include six children, Charles of Kingsville, Md., Robert of Covington, Mrs. Mary Virginia Switzer, Covington, Mrs. Elizabeth Bowman, Perrysville, Paul of Covington and Gene of Perrysville, and 12 grandchildren. - jz
