GRUBB, Ruby - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Ruby E. Grubb of Covington, age 85, died Friday morning, June 4, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born in Fountain County, June 18, 1896, the daughter of Henry V. and Frances H. Clawson Newburn. September 25, 1920, she married William L. Grubb, who died September 3, 1969. Mrs. Grubb was a member of Covington First Baptist Church.

  Surviving are a son, William H. Grubb of RR 3, Covington; a sister, Annetta Huffer of LaPorte; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Dr. Gregg Curtis and Rev. Glenn Ray Jr. officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. – thanks to S
