GRUBB, Lillie Thompson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Granville Grubb Sr., age 71, dded at 5:00 a.m. Friday at her home in Covington. Mrs. Grubb had been in ill health several months and seriously ill and bedfast the past year.  Mrs. Grubb was born Sept 3, 1875 in Harlan twp, (note this is likely Highland Township, Vermillion County, Indiana  as there is no Harland in Vermilion County Illinois or Vermillion County, Indiana).  the daughter of Isaiah and Bessie Conner Thompson. She is survived by her husband, Granville Grubb; two daughters, Mrs. Red Ritenour, Covington, Covington; and Mrs. H.A. Dickenson, Decatur; two stepsisters, Mrs. Gay Ricketts, Zephyr Hills, fl  and Mrs. Grace Dennis, Los Angeles; 7 stepchildren and six grandchildren.Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home wit Rev. Morris Morgan officiating. Interment was in Lower Mound cemetery.   --- kbz
