DANVILLE — Barbara Grubb, 72, died at Provena USMC Logan Campus where she had been a patient for two weeks. She had been employed at R & S Printing Company for 11 years before retiring in 1993. She has been a resident of Danville since 1977 and formerly of Covington. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Covington. Barbara was born at Tab, Ind. February 25, 1928. She was the daughter of Jack and Venetta Ford Clardy. Her parents, a brother and son-in-law preceded her in death. surviving are 6 children, Carolyn Christine Whitlow of Chicago, Michael Grubb of Las Vegas, Nev., Jackie Maddox of Westville, Ill., Rick Grubb of Russell Springs, Ky., Craig (Janet) Grubb of Carbondale, Ill., and Keith (Kammie) Grubb of Manitou Beach, Mich., three bothers, Eugene Clardy of Tennessee, Leslie Clardy and Robert Clardy both of Veedersburg, Ind., a special friend, Dorothy Pickett of Danville, 16 grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10 at Shelby funeral Home in Covington. burial in Mt. hope Cemetery. Visitation for friends and family is one hour before the services. – jlr
