COVINGTON — Allan Lee Grubaugh, 33, Covington, died at 4:25 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2007 in Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill. He was born Sept. 5, 1973 in Danville, Ill., the son of Marvin and Sharon (Pruitt) Wernigk. He worked as a lineman for Lebanon Chemical Co. Survivors include: his father, Marvin Wernigk, Covington; his mother, Sharon Wilson, Covington; two sisters, Linda (Bill) Willett, Catlin, Ill. and Christine (Cliff) Sigmon, Covington; a grandmother, Cora Stewart, Potomac, Ill.; an uncle, Bill Wernigk, Penfield, Ill.; four aunts, Betty Sanders, Dover, Tenn., Cora Louise Sweet, Hoopeston, Ill., Helen Burton, Armstrong, Ill., and Alice New, Danville, Ill.; two nephews, Matthew Grubaugh and Daniel Grubaugh; and two nieces, Krista Grubaugh and Ashly Sigmon. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Matthew Wernigk; two uncles; and a grandfather. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with Pastor Philip Jackson officiating. Burial was in Partlow Cemetery, Armstrong, Ill.
