KRAMER, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Gladys Gross, 83, of Kramer, died at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday (Oct. 13, 1976) in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She had been ill a week. Born March 24, 1893, in Warren County, she was the daughter of James and Margaret Glenn Farrell. On Oct. 22, 1917, in Dunnington, she married John Gross, who died July 22, 1971. She had resided most of her married life in Kramer and also had resided in Benton County. For the past two years, she had been a resident of Lebanon. A former school teacher, she was a graduate of Williamsport High and an Indianapolis teachers college. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Attica. Survivors include two sons, Dr. J.E. Gross of Lebanon and John G. of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. S. C. (Eileen) Gilham of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Thomas (Margaret Ann) O'Toole of Lancaster, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Bess Murray of Fowler Route 4; 10 grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. A son, Francis, preceded her in death. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Church, with the Rev. Edward Matuszak and the Rev. Donald Gross officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery in Attica. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Dale Maus Funeral Home in Attica, where rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday.   --waw
