Waynetown, May 8 - Frank Gross, 79 years old, retired farmer died Monday noon at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville where he had been critically ill snce April 28. He had been in failing health two years with asthma and heart disease. Born Oct 29, 1864 in Illinois, Mr. Gross was the son of William and Melinda Foxworthy Gross. He was married twice, first in 1892 to Mary Campbell who died Oct 18, 1893 and in November 1896 to Mrs. Arizona Ingersoll who passed away Oct 5, 1934.  Mr. Gross resided in this community many years but since the death of his second wife he had made his home in Crawfordsville. He was a member of the New Market Christian Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Claude Lydick of near Browns Valley, a son WL Gross of Chicago; one brother, William Gross of Salem, Ill; a sister, Mrs. Nancy Maynard of Denver, Colo, two grandchildren, Joan and Lois Gross of Chicago and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Grenard and Servies Funeral Home and burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery in Waynetown - kbz
