Covington - Frank Grosch, 67, of Covington Rt. 2, died Friday afternoon, Dec. 14, at St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient four days. He had been ill a week. He was born July 11, 1895 in Allegheny, Pa., the son of Clement and Mary Shaffer Grosch. He married Theresa Young in Frankfort in 1933. Mr. Grosch was a farmer all his life and lived in this area 65 years. An avid baseball and sports fan, he attended many Schlarman High School sports events. Mr. Grosch was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Veedersburg Farm Bureau and Holy Name Society of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Danville. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mary Ann and a brother, Herman, both at home. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Services were held at 10 a. m. Tuesday at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Frank Faulstich officiating. Burial was in the St. Patrick's Cemetery, with the Jones-Sullivan Funeral Home of Danville in charge.  --typed by Walt W
