ATTICA—Funeral services for Mrs. Sara Alice Grimes, age 57, a former resident of Attica, who died at 5:30 a. m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the Home Hospital in Lafayette, were held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Roemer Funeral Home here. The Rev. Ronnie DeLong officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Grimes was born April 20, 1908, in French Lick, the daughter of Thomas and Rose Lytle Brewer. She was a member of the Christian Church at Cain Creek. Survivors include: one son, James Hampton of Attica; one daughter, Mrs. Elaine Piper of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; three brothers, Samuel of French Lick, William of Lafayette and Orville of Missouri; and three sister, Mrs. June Holder of Attica, Mrs. Grace Bowman of Kingman and Mrs. Helen Allen of Lafayette. --typed by Walt W
